my knee hurts alot and i feel like a knife is stuck in it?!

Question: My knee hurts alot and i feel like a knife is stuck in it?
so i recently joined track team and i would run and practice, the first week was very sore and my whole leg would be in pain but only from the muscles and stuff which is normal... but after i rested 4 days after a full week of track practice, i started to run again. my knee starts to hurt ALOT..however, it is not the knee cap, it is the bone on the side of it or like..the inner joint bone. it is between my knee cap and is like a ball joint connecting my calf bone with my knee cap. whenever i walk, i would feel it THROBBING and sharp pains. this is on BOTH of my knees and it is like the inner bone for my knees. it hurts alot and i cant even run now. when ever i stamp my feet, it will shoot through my leg the pain and i will basically have to LIMP . it feels like a SWELLING pain, but i dont think it is swelling, and its not like its a bruise. please help, i have to run and without my knees, it is a pain. (i tried rubbing it with medicated oil, but it gets worse sortof.)

Okay, That does hurt! I have had that experience before. If you want to get rid of the pain, try ice packs, and if that doesn't work, contact your doctor. It is possible you have torn a legimet, sports that involve alot of running, jumping, sprinting etc, can really put pressure on your joints and legimets. Try the ice pack or a thermacare heating pad, If it does not work, contact your doctor and set up an appointment to get X-rayed for a torn legimet. Hope it helped, good luck (:
