Question: Deep cut on my thumb, burning horribly and can feel heartbeat?
my nail on my thumb dug into the skin and cut it (quite deeply, almost bleeding) and i didnt have soap or water at the time, only bandaid. Hours later when I got home I washed it and put rubbing alcohol on it, and as afterwards my thumb started throbbing, got quite red and i can feel my heartbeat in the cut. How can I relieve the pain? its driving me nuts!

that heart beat is just your pulse
just add some ice apply pressure and antiseptic
itll heal up

Rinse the alcohol off ( for future reference, alcohol burns) , let it breath for awhile, then loosely bandage it, just suffer it out, a day or two, it will be much better. Everything sound normal, no worries.
