Deep cut on my thumb, burning horribly and can feel heartbeat?!

Don't be a sissy man, it's just a cut, focus your mind on other things and it won't hurt as much. Look how small your thumb is in comparison to your body

To be honest it doesn't sound that bad. I cut myself accidently all the time. You're not even bleeding so don't worry too much about infection, and yeah the throbbing pulse in the cut drives me mad as well so just get a little ice on it to numb the iritation.

That's not your heartbeat, that's your pulse. There's a pulse in your thumb. That's completely normal.

And seriously? Don't go to the doctors, that's a waste of time and money.

I would soak it in hot salt water for as long as the water stays hot. Pat it dry. Put a clean bandaid on it and move on. If the throbbing gets too bad, then put a cold pack on it.

until you get there wrap it in a clean sterile bandage and DO NOT put any cream or anything in to it
