Question: No toenail for about 3 years?
my toenail came off when i was younger, and all there is is pink skin, no nail whatsoever.
i went to the doctor and she said it'd grow back, but it's been 4 years.
anyone have any idea whats wrong?

Maybe the toenail has died off, or it had grown into a soft skin. Nails are actually part of the skin, so it is not that far fetched.
