Can anyone help me with my ovary pain?!

I've been to the Doctor and they didn't diagnose me she told me that she would do, "nothing", but i've had this pain for almost a year now and it's really getting annoying
it is usually a dull painful ache on my right side down by my ovary but after i've been standing for a while it does into my back and becomes even more painful. they told me i had a ovarian cyst on my left hand side but there isn't usually any pain there, the pain gets really really bad when i'm on my period and goes away for a bit afterwards. she tried me on the pill but this hasn't worked and actually makes the pain more often and now doesn't go away after my period.
i'm not quite sure as to what to do i've tried changing my diet, and resting but it just comes straight back as soon as i move. i don't notice the pain at night unless i'm on my period and sometimes sitting in one position it can start to hurt so i have to move.
can anyone help me?? :)
