i am only asking this because i am wondering how things work and what can make things go wrong in your body.

there is nothing you can do that will definitely give you appendicitis and be able to know when it will come on.
your appendix is a little organ by your intestines. what appendicitis is is a backup of stool into the appendix. if it ruptures the stool goes into your abdominal cavity and can cause so many problems. they will actually have to take out all your intestines and wash them with saline. This could be life threatening.
this can happen to young children or elderly, there is not one thing taht can cause it to happen
