From what I read, if you follow all directions from your doctor, you shouldn't have a problem.

Well, more than the average person would need to take. Tramadol won't kill you peacefully, if that's your intention, it will give you seizures and maybe cause paralysis as well, but OD'ing on tramadol won't be quick and painless.

If by overdose, you mean a recreational dose, tramadol is not a recreational type of drug, it will resemble an opiate high,but it is not too enjoyable.
