As somebody above mentioned... if you are writing a play, the timing doesn't matter.

If you want 3-15 minutes, cut deep and cut across the wrist in a hot bath.
If you want 15-30 minutes, cut deep and cut across the wrist.
If you want it longer, cut less deep.

But your probably want one of those two options. For some reason I'm imagining this scene involving a woman singing while in the bathtub dying. I think it could be pretty dramatic depending on the acting talent.

it honestly depends how deep the cuts are, and also how your body reacts to wounded skin.
Deep ones can sometimes last upto about a year or so
Light ones on the top of the skin can take about 2/3weeks to heel
I say about a good few months for a deepish one. Go to other websites and compare answers and whats more popualr ect. Hope it helps :) x

In a play it can take as long as you need. In reality it can take days if the blood loss is not enough. Or you could have a stroke, heart attack, infections, or slip on the blood and hit your head. Endless variations. But not quick.

From minutes to hours, depending on how severe the cuts are. In a hot bath you will die faster for example as the blood flows faster. if you sever an artery you can die in minutes.

Well most ppl slit wrists and then lay in a bathtub. Keeps the blood from clotting and flows faster. I'd say death within an hour or 2 but I'm not for sure

if you are writing a play you can make it as long as you like
