Question: Stapling a wound myself? Is this ok?
The wound is on my lower arm and quite deep (you can see the fat bits) and it wouldn't stop bleeding for a while...so I stapled it. And now I'm worried about the wound being infected. I know it sounds stupid, because obviously I can't have been that worried if I used to self harm anyway.
I just don't know what I should do, pull them out or leave them in?

you really need to see a doctor. The staples you used were not sterile and that opens you up for huge infection! Please go to the ER now
Dude, the staples are not clean or sterile, you should just really go to ER now, before your wound gets really infected, and then turns into Gangrene which ends up to amputation!

You need to get to a hospital, so that they can clean your wound and seal it with sterile stitches .

Your situation sounds pretty bad. You need to go to the ER right away or you could suffer a serious infection. Please see a doctor ASAP!
