My lower back hurts when I lie down and my neck hurts too?!

Question: My lower back hurts when I lie down and my neck hurts too?
When I lie down, my lower back is arched, and it needs to fall down onto my matress. My neck and back feel fine after being popped but they just don't feel normal sometimes...

I am only 13, if it matters.

Thanks in advance! =)

Keep a very small pillow under the arch of your back (or rolled up towel) and a small pillow under knees when on your back; between knees when on your side. Also, use a pillow that is not real thick for your neck. These things will have your body in proper alignment.

Stretching exercises will help a lot too.

pinched nerve in back

If you're neck/back hurts, use a heating pad for 15 minute intervals before you go to sleep.
If you have an exercise ball (one of those huge inflated balls). Roll your back on it slowly. Bending your knees and bringing your butt to the ground, and then extending your knees reaching your hands over your head, touch the ground for support.
Test sleeping with a pillow positioned at your side for support, or a pillow between your legs.
Stretch before you go to bed to loosen up the tension from the day.
If you have serious back pain, i'd look to see if your insurance covers Chiropractic care. If you find a good doctor it'll help a lot.

Sleeping with a pillow under your knees or between your legs if on your side should help.

Pain could be due to a lack of proper exercise/ stretching or you could have strained your back. Look up back and abdominal exercises (as you need to work opposing muscles evenly); warm-up and stretch before and after. See if this helps. If not, you probably need to take it easy for a few days up to a week, taking Tylenol or Motrin as needed, to see if you just strained it and it goes away.

your neck is misaligned causing nerve interference which, among other things, is causing your back muscles to be weak. stop cracking your neck immediately and permanently. see an hio method upper cervical specific chiropractor.

You have inoperable cancer. 1 year to live. Sorry
