if more than 1/2 inch go see a Dr.
if your friend can see bone go see a Dr .

I would contact your doctor ASAP. Although the bleeding stopped, the situation could still be serious. I don't think you need to call 911 or go to the emergency room, but if the bleeding begins again and flows uncontrollably, I would contact 911 and get an ambulance. Maybe call someone who has training? If you start to get dizzy, you probably already lost a lot of blood. But anyways, my main point is that even though it stopped bleeding, always treat these sort of situations seriously. Contact your doctor ASAP! Better safe than sorry!

If you are dizzy or you have any visual problems or you are feeling pain "inside" of your head not just from your skin damage you should see a doctor as soon as possible.

And if your wound is wide you should see a doctor too because without proper medical attendance it could leave a scar.

go to the emergency room right now!!!!!!!! your proably have to get stitches and there could be a chance brain damage you need to get it checked out now
