How come adults don't have as much energy as kids?!

Question: How come adults don't have as much energy as kids?
I am turning 20 soon, and all my friends (whom are around my age) say that I tire them out or just watching me tires them out. I run around the house playing with the dogs and I'm constantly playing tag and jumping around outside I guess I just like playing around.

Am I suppose to be less active and what are the long term benefits of being energetic like this besides being annoying.

Answers:

Scientists have always used the proven facts of the many activities during the ageing process which cause our bodies from the inside to slowly decline. You must also remember that adults will have different energy levels depending on their chosen lifestyle, for example two men in their 40's may differ as one may be obese due to an inactive lifestyle and the other athletic. Kids themselves can relate to this as an obsese child i am sure will struggle running as far as a fit child. So yes we will have less energy as we get older but we all decline at different levels.

'Cause they're old.
