How can I get a bug and possibly eggs out of my ear?!

Question: How can I get a bug and possibly eggs out of my ear?
For a little bit I had this kind of drumming sound in my ear, but it never occured to me that it might be a bug. Now it feels like my hearing is being restrained out of that ear, and someone suggested it might be a bug in there. Since there's no longer drumming, but an odd sensation that something's in my ear, I think it either died or laid eggs. I've cried I'm so scared! What do I do? Help! Thank you!

A visit to a doctor who can look inside with an otoscope is in order here. Earwigs do ineed get in people's ears, but not so much in the US, but the South American ones will. There are other possibilities, but don't mess with your ears. It is a lot easier to puncture your eardrum that people think. If there is any foreign object in there , the doctor may need to flush it our or even do a foreceps removal, which is perfectly safe with a HEENT doc. You may also just have an impaction of ear wax, as the sounds in your blocked ear can even mimic things like bug noises or cellophane rustling. Still need the doc to wash this out of your ear.Tend to it ASAP before it gets infected , and please don't fiddle with it yourself.

Me, nurse.

My brother had that happen to him. He shoved a fly in his ear. The first thing you do is have it checked by a doctor. Make sure it is some sort of bug instead of some sort of ear infection. If it is just and infection, they will treat you with medicine. NEVER TRY TO CURE IT YOURSELF, YOU MIGHT PERMANENTLY DAMAGE YOUR HEARING BY STICKING SOMETHING IN YOUR EAR. If it is a bug and it is laying eggs/isn't laying eggs, here is what to do. 1. Go into the shower and turn the water on. 2. Try to get a decent amount of water in there but not too much. 3. Do the trick that gets water out of your ear, tilt your head sideways and jump up and down on one leg (make sure the leg you are jumping on is the one closest to the ear ie left ear, jump on left leg and the head is tilted to the side where the affected ear is pointing down). The water will most likely kill the bug/eggs in a few minutes and then you do step 2 and 3 to get the bug out. If it doesn't work the first time, try a few more showers. Don't worry after the first one, the bug/eggs will already be dead.

Go to a doctor (Ear, Nose and Throat specialist!). It's probably not a bug btw. DO NOT TRY TO DEAL WITH THIS YOURSELF. GO TO A DOCTOR. Sticking something in your ear might damage your hearing permanently.
