BUG ..no way..this phenomenon is called tinnitus, the ringing sound in the ear. It can be due to many many reasons, if its been for more than hours, you should see a doctor, for any ear drum or vestibular problem, otherwise if it was just due to the headphones n goes away then nothing needs to be done. But take care you will have to see an ENT specialist if it stays for hours

If it persists for a few more days, it's very likely that you have a bug in your ear. The sound could be the bug walking around. This happened to me, andI thought it was because of my headphones or water.
