Ok I got my industrial piercing October 13 of last year. It doesn't hurt like a lot of people tell you it will. Mine I didn't feel at all I had no numbing solution or anything fbut the seond one like the second hole I felt her twist it and it startled me but didn't hurt! It is a great piercing!
That's quite a while for you to wait to get one, lol. If you are still interested in getting one when you can, then good :). But I think all piercings will hurt to some degree. Some places will obviously hurt more than others. If you have ever had the top of your ear pierced (cartilage) then that's basically what it will be like, but twice, since industrial piercings are twice in the cartilage. It will be more painful than getting your earlobes pierced, obviously. I've never had an industrial, but I got my cartilage pierced years ago and it kind of hurt just a little, but nothing unbearable. I think it just depends on your pain tolerance. You'll never know until you find out yourself.
