How to recover muscles while still keeping the muscles?!
Question: How to recover muscles while still keeping the muscles?
I ask this question because swim season is about to start in about 2 to 7 days, however my body is hurting. I have been working out every day for the last 2 months to get ready for swim season, and my body is taking the toll. I've been taking the protein, but its still not enough.
How can I keep my muscles, but still let them recover? What foods should I intake? Should I still work out a little bit, or stop all at once to ensure full recovery?

The most common mistake is over training the body. You are correct, the best thing is to give a period of "recovery" to maximize muscle building.
It is also common myth that you need tons of protein to build muscle, which is not true (unless you are a body builder). Only 10% of your calorie intake should be from protein, which is more than sufficient. However, since you swim, you need to consume more calories in general.
Good luck.
