Question: Why did the muscle in my foot suddenly squeeze up tightly (contract)?
A while ago the muscle in my left foot suddenly squeezed up really tightly up to a point were it felt painful. It felt like it a clench or tightening in my foot like a contraction. It happened for about 10 seconds until my father advised me to stand up it and it stopped and went back to normal. I really want to avoid experiencing this again because it was terrifying so does anybody know why this happened in the first place? Thanks.

It is called a charlie horse don't worry all you have to do is stretch out your legs and it shouldn't happen again.
