My heels hurt when my bladder is full.?!

Question: My heels hurt when my bladder is full.?
In the Morning, when I wake up my left or right heel hurts like crazy when my bladder is full. After I relieve myself, the pain goes away. Does any one know what is going on?

Answers:

Hello,

First of all I don't believe it's related to your bladder,

Pain in the heels first thing in the morning are symptoms associated with a case called "Plantar Fasciitis" which is an inflammation of the plantar fascia at the bottom of the foot.
The bladder being full is just natural in the morning as well.
You need to treat your feet first to resolve this pain.

From your description it is very hard to determine exactly what is the cause. Please answer these questions so I can give you a better diagnostic:

1) Is it sensitive to the touch/press on your heels?
2) Where exactly is the pain located in your heel?
3) Do you have high or low arches in your feet?
4) How long do you have this pain?
5) Is there any redness or bruising visible in your feet?
6) What kind of shoes you usually wear?
7) Does it also hurt when you stand up after sitting down for more than 10 minutes?

Here are a few things you can do to help this condition:

1) In general you should be completely resting your injured foot - No walking or standing at all (Use crutches if needed)

2) Ice your heel at least 4 times a day, either by applying ice directly or by rolling a frozen bottle under your heel when you sit down.

3) Take pain medication like Advil only if needed

You can write to me directly if you prefer, my email is in my profile.

Good luck and feel better!

This is really strange - the fact that the pain that you have is only present when you baldder is full...
