Should I see a doctor about salt water in my ears?!

Question: Should I see a doctor about salt water in my ears?
I was swimming in the ocean a little more than a week ago, and I haven't been able to hear properly since. The problem is mostly in my right ear, but every so often I can hear perfectly from this one, but not the other. On occasion, I can't hear well out of either one. It's been over a week, so should I see a doctor, or does anyone have any at-home solutions they'd like to share with me?

Answers:

Put a few drops of plain old rubbing alcohol in your ear. Wait about 30 seconds and then tilt your head back to drain it. It may help to have someone else put the drops in your ear...it can be hard til you're used to it.
