Cramping in left leg?!

Question: Cramping in left leg?
My mom has me worried because for about 2 weeks she has been having cramps in her left leg. She says it feels kind of like a charley horse. When she is sitting in a chair she'll go to get up or sit down and it looks like she is having trouble getting up because of her leg. She also said the pain radiates from her hip to her calf.
Is it any thing serious?

Answers:

It could be an impinged nerve or varicose veins, possibly PAVD.

That sounds like the muscles in her lower back are tight and pressing onto the nerves going to her legs to cause those pains in the legs. Freeing up the back muscles will get the pressure off the nerves to give her the relief you are looking for and here's how to free the back muscles up:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
