Second of all, i would get a second opinion if i were you. A yellowing of the skin and eyes is called jaundice, and it's a sign on liver failure. Your liver is responsible for filtering out bilirubin and other toxins from your blood, and when it fails, then that bilirubin leaks into your blood and changes the color of your skin and eyes.

Don't panic yet. The doc could be right, and it might not be anything. But i wouldn't consider that to be normal, which is why i would advise you to seek a second opinion.

Bilirubin is a yellow chemical in the hemoglobin of your red blood cells. They get broke down so your liver can process them out of your body. When your body backs up with billirubin Jaundice(the yellowing of skin and eyes) will occur.?It is a direct sign of a liver that is not functioning normally.?Your Dr. says your producing too much ok than demand he find out why because its obvious that your liver isn't acting normal and being one of the largest most important organs in the human body its not to much to ask that he find out why your livers functioning abnormally. something is wrong and you should be finding out why because in order to correct the symptom you need to correct the cause..

Bleach them. I get mine bleached once a month just to keep them looking fresh.
