See your health care provider as soon as possible (primary care doctor), for consultation. A variety of nerve related problems can cause or contribute to headache. Treatments very according to the cause, but generally, the recurring headache will ease once the underlying problem is addressed. Common irritants to the nerves include viral and bacterial infections.
The nervous system allows the brain to communicate with all parts of the body helps to control bodily functions. It also reacts to changes both outside and inside the body. The brain and spinal cord are called the central nervous system, while nerves throughout the rest of the body are referred to as the peripheral nervous system. The basic building block of the nervous system is a nerve cell, or neurone. Neurones are shaped differently depending on where they are in the body and what role they play.

A variety of infections can cause headache. Other symptoms may include fever, skin rashes, neck stiffness, and seizures. Some of the more common infections that cause headache include:

Meningitis-or inflammation of the meningitis, the membranes lining the central nervous system.

Post-viral neuralgia-a range of infections that can cause nerve irritation.

Shingles-a viral infection that can recur after an initial bout of chicken pox.

Temporal arteritis-inflammation of blood vessels.

Headache can be caused by a combination of factors working together. That is why professional advice is needed to investigate and properly diagnose the specific behind a recurring headache.

All of the usual over-the-counter drugs (acetaminophen, aspirin, ibuprofen, or naproxen) are quite effective in relieving headache.
Headache may frequently be relieved by massage or heat applied to the back of the upper neck or by simply resting with eyes closed and the head supported. Relaxation techniques such as meditation may work also.
I hope this helps you. And good luck.

You are tightening up your body when you have 'nerves', and that is tightening up your neck muscles which is giving you the headache. Your neck muscles go to the top of your head where they connect with muscles going around your head. When the neck muscles get tight they pull on the head muscles and when they go into pain you have your headache. To get rid of it you have to free up your neck muscles and here's how to do that:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about two minutes, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
