I just almost blacked out in the shower...help, please!?!

Question: I just almost blacked out in the shower...help, please!?
I was taking a shower (it's about 10:00) and I just woke up. So, I get in the shower and it's all good, and then about halfway in I start to get dizzy. I take really hot showers, and sometimes this happens, so I kind of opened the shower door to get some steam in. So, I'm washing my hair when it gets worse, and then I start loosing my vision. Everything kind of becomes blurry and black around the edges, so I rinse my hair and get out. I gain my vision back but can't stand, and I felt like I was going to throw up so I crawled over to the toilet and sat there for a few minutes and then it went away...sometimes I do get dizzy in the shower, but never that bad.

Anyone know whats going on?

I know exactly what's going on with you. This happened to me a few months ago when I was in a hot tub. There are three components that are adding to this mix: lack of sleep, dehydration, and hot temperatures. The best thing to do when this happens is to sit down and drink some water. If you don't try to fix this, this will eventually lead to terrible migraines. Be careful, and I hope you feel better!

A: TURN THE HEAT DOWN!! The shower is for cleaning yourself, not cooking yourself. B: When you get right out of bed without any decent stretching, it's really easy for your body to get vertigo. Even when you're laying down, try stretching every muscle you can before you get up. It helps wake your body AND your mind up.
