I always get cramps in my arms and legs?!

Question: I always get cramps in my arms and legs?
I don't know why this is, but I find that I'm always taking advil or ibuprofin or some medicine to take away the pain.
Why could this be? Is it that I'm deficient in calcium? :s

Thank you :)

Answers:

cramps in extremeties might be a potassium deficiency. try taking a good multi vitamin and/or eating foods rich in potassium. bananas and blueberries are good.

I don't think it's in those but I have found that if you press into the cramp and hold pressure on it the pain goes away right away and the cramp leaves in about 10 seconds. This works good for the regular cramps that aren't so tight, like in your feet where you have to stand on it to get rid of the pain.

I get cramps when I stay in a position for too long. Like, if I'm leaning on my arm, then it happens. Just ignore it. Medicine won't do you that well in the end.

Make sure your drinking enough water. I always get cramps if I don't.
