You may be coming down with a cold, flu, or some sort of viral infection. I once had a virus that caused a large blister-like sore on the back of my throat. There wasn't anything I could do about other than just let my body fight it off. After a few days it was gone.

If you develop other symptoms (fever, chills, aches/pains) or if it doesn't go away in a few days go see a doctor.

In the meantime, stay warm, drink some hot tea with lemon and honey in it, or gargle with warm salty water (do not swallow the salt water - it will make you sick) Hot soup is good too.

It sounds like strep. I would take a flashlight to the back of your throat and look in a mirror for any swollen areas or any areas with white dots. That could be a sign of strep which you would want to go to your doctor for antibiotics. This also could just be your reaction to any weather changes.

It shouldn't be a problem, probably just strep throat or something.
Everyone gets it.

Sip warm tea with honey & lemon.
Make a Hot toddy if you can:
Warm and toasty and just in time for winter, the Hot Toddy is a classic hot drink. Feel free to experiment with your favorite types of tea or skip it all together and use hot water alone. Most black and green teas mix well with the sweetness of the honey and lemon, but from there it's a personal preference and some interesting toddies are possible. There is also a Gin Toddy that is a great variation of this warm cocktail.
