my son has a really itchy head?!

He probably isn't rinsing his head after shampooing very good, on top of the weather and it being so dry out, my grandson had the same thing but he is only 4 years old and I rinse his hair and everything, shaved his hair, not bald but short enough and he still gets it every now and then, Doctor says its Eczema !

It could be a type of eczema which can make the head itch. I had to switch to DOVE. Even though it's expensive, I purchase it on a regular basis because it caused the itching to stop. Also, he could have an allergy to something in his regular shampoo. Or, just a reaction to some of the chemicals. Try switching shampoo,

Perhaps it's a shampoo or something he's eating. Has he eaten anything new recently? It could even be an allergic reaction. To find out exactly what it is I'd take him to a doctor. They'd be able to pin point it.

If he uses gel or hairspray that could be causing the itch as well...especially if it isn't being washed thoroughly
