Question: Under influence of stromg opiate painkillers and diazepam would a police interview count?

was in custody for 32 hrs. i am disabled and received meds for my pain. throughout custody i was never offered a meal, an hour before my interview i had taken 2x30mg of dihydrocodeine and 10mg of diazepam. i was then given same dose of meds in evening and then the next afternoon i was given just 2x30mg dihydrocodeine. i was then interviewed again by this time i had consumed 180mg of dihydrocodeine and 20 mg of diazepam not had a single meal and been kept in constant light no darkness offered even when i requested lights to be turned off, and it says in custody handbook im allowed 8hrs dark time. can any of the interviews i have given be considered by a jury in uk court of law? please help with this query asap. thank you.

i failed to mention my usual dose of meds is 10mg dihydrocodeine with 500mg of paracetamol X2 and 2mg of diazepam not 30mgx2 dihydrocodeine and 10mg of diazepam, and the roll on affect of these drugs, and at these dosages they stay in your system for longer.

...and personally, it doesn't hold any water with me. 9 out of 10 people who i have seen run across the jail think they were "victimized" while in there. Like someone who doesn't even know them hates them enough to pick them out of the crowd of hundreds of others they have to deal with in their job.

Stop taking drugs - things will only always go downhill for you if you keep this up.

My advice would be to seek legal advice. However I believe your medication would render your answers questionable as defining evidence of a crime. But I am just a layman. You can get legal aid I believe. In this case you definitely need it if you want the correct outcome.

You should get a final copy of interview to sign. Here is what you put on the paper. " I do not concur with these findings but I am signing this paper because I was asked to sign it. For the past 24 I have been under heavy medication given by the authority and this was not taken into consideration during this Interview. Write it down before hand and it will not take you so long to copy it.
