will compression stockings make your blood pressure go up?!

Question: Will compression stockings make your blood pressure go up?
Answers:

It shouldn't. Every time I have to go to a hospital, they make me wear SCD's (Sequential Compression Devices) - basically compression stockings that are hooked to a machine that pump automatically and inflate/deflate at certain intervals.... Anyway, my vitals get checked every 4 hours when hospitalized and unless I'm like REALLY messed up my vitals are normal all the time. :)

no i guess
