So we're high school freshmen, and my friend has a friend who has Oxycodone pills. She's going over her house next week to try them, and she's convinced she won't get addicted since their her friend's. I don't want anything bad to happen to her, so what can I tell her to help her make the best decision. Please help me!

Force her not to. My dad works as a finance director for a pharmaceutical company, and they work with codine, morphine, oxycotin. They are all extreme mental addictions. One use is enough to make your body want more. that is why hospitals need to be extremely careful when using these as pain killers, as too much can screw someone up permanantly.

Tell her that narcotics can cause respiratory depression and DEATH. They should only be taken as prescribed and under the supervision of a physician.

Tell her not to do it, its stupid, your friend will probably get addicted, and go on to different drugs.
