Question: Why does my knee hurt so bad?

For almost a year now I have had terrible pain in my knees. Just recently though the pain has gotten a Lot worse. I have a brace to wear but it almost seams like hats making the pain worse. My mom refuses to take me to the doctor and the pain is in both knees. I ice my knees after every soccer game but it never does anything. The weird hing is today I noticed a bruse starting to appear on my knee about an inch above anothe bruse. The weird thing is nothing has happend the past few days that would cause that. Please help!!!

There are numerous causes of knee problems. It is one of the most common complaints at practically all ages.

While knee pain has multiple causes, the most common is osteoarthritis, particularly in the older population.
