This is coming from a body piercer. Getting it done isn't too painful. But any kind of oral piercing as a high infection rate, even after it's healed so you have to be very careful. Also, if you still have your braces, I'd wait til you get them taken off. The last thing you want is to get the back of the stud caught on them
