I think i have an infection of some sort on my left big toe?!

Question: I think i have an infection of some sort on my left big toe?
At first i thought that i had an ingrown toenail on my left big toe. It was slightly swollen and kinda red and very painful. I cleaned it up with some peroxide and triple antibiotic cream then bandaged it up and thought it was going to be okay. It had some sort of meat bubble and it looked like it had blood inside of it (that really made me nervous). The wound was looking somewhat better and i thought it was starting to go away but then it started hurting REALLY bad and now can't wear regular tennis shoes because the pressure hurts too bad. I really wish i knew what the heck is on my foot!

If anyone knows what this is, can you please help?

Answers:

It is a severe case of an ingrown toenail. The nail is so deeply embedded into the flesh that you yourself could not take it out. You should see a doctor so that he could asses your situation. You cannot cure it with any home remedies. It could only get worse and worse if you won't go see a doctor. Infections like toenail fungus could easily penetrate your toes.

It could be Gout which is a kind of arthritis that occurs when uric acid builds up in the joints.

Mine started in my big toe which was red and hot to the touch. I left if for a while and it spread to my ankles and just putting sheets over them made me scream in pain.

Go to the doctor to be sure what it is.

it still could be an ingrown toenail. your best bet would be to see a doctor

u might be best to go see a doctor he will tell u whats up with it plus give u meds if u need them
