I just got a spider bite, and it looks pretty bad, what should I do?!

Question: I just got a spider bite, and it looks pretty bad, what should I do?
So last night..call me crazy, but I remember taking off my pants in my sleep and I was rolling around.
I wake up to find two spider bites on my upper right leg thigh. It's actually closer to me knee.

Each bite mark had two liquid filled bubbles..I poped them and they keep leaking and oozing clear liquid.
Now the bite marks have a red circle around them and I can clearly see where the teeth sunk into my skin.

Is this a bad bite? or no?

Answers:

Spiders, like most species of wild life, carry bacteria. The red rings are a sign of a spreading infection. The oozing is from white blood cells attacking the bacteria and dying.

In this case, you will need to go to the doctor. He will prescribe antibiotics.

To prevent this from happening in the future, make your bed. Crumpled sheets look like hiding places for the brown recluse spiders. They like to hide and usually can be found inside old boxes, on the ceiling or close to the floor.

I wouldn't mess around with spider bites especially if there is swelling and redness. A brown recluse spider bite can result in amputation if not treated and those spiders are tiny and very common. If it swells up go to the hospital. If it just itches and gets a little red you may be OK but check your temperature. If you begin to run a fever, go to the hospital or at least urgent care.

Has a friend who almost lost his hand after a spider bite.

Sounds like it is a spider bide and has become infected. Go to the doctor so that they can look at it and give you meds. if needed. You don't want to mess around with spider bites because you don't know what type of spider bite it is that bit you. Please see a doctor.

go to the doctor or call the doc immediatly
