Question: PLEASE HELP ME I'M IN SEVERE PAIN!!!?

Okay for about the bast 4-6 days I have been vomiting, had nausea,diarrhea,and feverish temperatures with severe pains in my lower right and left abdomen.I'll admit i am a bit stressed out,but I've never had pains like this, my mom called my doctor and was going to make me an appointment ,but my mom told him that it was likely due to stress for the fact that my mom has just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.My family has kept me from getting overly stressed and I vent to my friend whenever i can and i still have these pain's I'm wondering if it might be my appendix and that it may be located on my left side in this case,since it's both sides.Please help me figure out what's wrong and how to tell my mom that i need to see my doctor.Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. It sounds to me like you may have the flu. The appendix is located on the right side, so it would be unlikely to hurt on both sides. Just keep asking your mother to take you to the doctor. She's got a lot of noise in her head right now but if you keep asking her, she'll hear you and take you.

Assert yourself and go to the doctor. Your mom has cancer, but that's not a rational reason to ignore protracted illness! If you've had a fever with vomiting and diarrhea and abdominal paid for 6 DAYS, you're at a real risk. It's not uncommon for things to go undiagnosed until far, far too late because 'it's just the flu' or something.
