What can I do about my throat?!

Question: What can I do about my throat?
I have a really big game coming up and I have a horribly sore throat and cold symptoms. I'm taking cold and flu pills but it's not working. Any suggestions?

Answers:

Tight neck muscles will press into your throat to give you a sore throat. That happens because the muscles are pressed into so tight they can't move to make them sore. You have to free up your neck muscles to get rid of the pain and here's how to do that:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about two minutes, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Hi...Yeah,I too was going to suggest thera-flu...This medication really kicks a sore throat and cold symptoms right out.Good stuff too. And,also alka seltzer is good too.I have found for some reason the cough and cold 'pills' aren't as effective as many of the powders and seltzers are.I don't really know why that is,but I've learned over many years that this seems to be the case.Good luck to you,and I hope your well enough for the 'big game'.Take care.

Oh,and if you try the thera-flu? Get the lemon flavor..it's quite tasty. And,add in a little sugar too with the thera-flu lemon flavor..

therma flu....its nasty but wen you drink it fast its not so bad. my sore throat went away in 2days
