Is it just a strain or a broken bone?!

Question: Is it just a strain or a broken bone?
Well today i went to pay football and i had the ball i tried a shot with my left foot (im right footed) and i think i twisted my whole right leg or something i don't know what happened but after i felt pain for like 30 seconds i sat down just for the pain to go i couldn't move it, it felt numb and it felt like some bone poped out but i looked at my leg it looked normal i can walk and run normal but when i put pressure, heavy pressure, on my leg it feels like something is coming out, i don't feel pain it just feels like i have been run for long time without rest. so is it just a strain or broken bone? if its a strain what should i do and how long will it last for?

Answers:

It sounds like it's just strained. If it was broken, you would hardly be able to walk. You should try to keep off of it as much possible. Try putting a heating pad, a hot pack, or a warm, wet towel on your leg to relax the muscles. You can also try wrapping it in an ace bandage. If it continues to feel this way for a month, I recommend going to the doctor. Hope this helps!!!!!!! :)

Depending on how you twisted it it could be something to do with you interior or exterior cruciate ligament of the knee. I've done this myself. An example of this type of injury is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyI_gXOE2…

Yours is minor compared to this if you can walk and run but could affect you for a long time. See a dr but don't expect much help if your in England

Done it myself playing football caught studs in turf knee twisted wrong way

It could be a sprain or even a joint subluxation. No harm in getting it checked.
