I hit my cheekbone, how do I know if I am now officially disfigured?!
Question: I hit my cheekbone, how do I know if I am now officially disfigured?
Okay, so I bumped into somebody during practice..(bumped being an understatement, more like collided) and I hurt my cheekbone, she basically head-butted my face. There's not much bruising surprisingly, a little pain when touched, but the impact of her head on my face was like..I thought I really broke something.
There isn't really much to worry about but I'm asking this out of paranoia, I sort of felt a slight dent, some difference between the left and right cheekbones. If there were to be any long-term disfiguration on the inside, it would have swelled or done something to alert me of what's happening underneath, right? I have no need to worry, right?

Answers:
Bones are very strong. It takes more than someone bumping into you to break or disfigure them. I wouldn't worry.
Quit whining, it's just a bruise.
