Question: Whats wrong with my knees?
im 14 and 5'7 and for the past 2 months my knees have been hurting a lot. they hurt when i stand and walk and they also ache a lot. is it possible for a 14 year old to have arthritis in his knees?. idk whats wrong with them

Hi. I'm a 13 year old girl. I had the same trouble when I was 11/12. I thought it was arthritis but it wasn't. You should get it checked out by your GP. It is most likely Osgood-Schaltter's Disease. It's not actually a disease and it's not that serious but I know its VERY painful. When you go to the doctor, they will probably refer you to a Physiotherapist, which is what they did for me. I know it's painful but knee pain can last for a LONG time if not treated by a Medically Trained Professional. Hope it gets better.
