he'll be on his crutches for 6 weeks- 3 months unless he'll need surgery or something like that. a few weeks after he gets the crutches off he'll be able to return to football.
it depends on how bad the brake is it can vary from one week to three months the only person who will know is his doctor. He should of been told and if not he should know because he should have an appointment booked ready to have his cast took off:S
BY THE WAY: he will lucky if he ever plays properly again, he will be out of football for at least a year, i did the same three years ago and haven't done P.E at school since, he will obviously never be the same and will probably end up with pain every so often but he will definitely be out for at least a year and might never get playing again.
