Ways to heal a burned finger?!

Question: Ways to heal a burned finger?
I accidentally touched a vent with steam coming out of it and got burned on my finger. I quickly ran it through cold water (not icy) and now its somewhat painful. The area is where my finger joint is and there is a small, white, raised bump on it. What can I do to help it heal and prevent scarring or any other serious complications?

Answers:

Good job on the cold water - that helped.

Keep it clean and dry. Not much else you can do.

a)Take an over-the-counter pain reliever. These include aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others), pyroxene (Al eve) or acetaminophen (Tylenol, others).
b)The treatment of burns may include the removal of dead tissue (debasement), applying dressings to the wound, administering large volumes of intravenous fluids, administering antibiotics and skin grafting.

Not much you can do for burns....but types of ointment and if burn is on the soft side of hand or finger it's gonna hurt a lot worse so ice it as much as possible

its a blister.
leave it 2 dry
