Question: What can cause limited range of movement up and down in feet and pain from top of foot in left leg to the knee?
Answers:
One explanation is a shin splint. Most of the time, it causes a severe pain in your leg, localized to the front of the leg - the shin. It can limit movement, and is extremely painful. If you're flat-footed, run a lot, or are on your feet a lot during the day, you can develop shin splints, and they suck. Your doctor can tell you for sure, but if you want to take care of it your self, there's a few ways to do this.
Ice the front of your lower leg, take aspirin, and move your leg around in slow movements to stretch out the muscles.
Good luck!
