Question: ADVICE PLEASE... I really need it.?
These past couple of days I think I have been stressing out to much. I had a dramatic incident that occured this week, my brother almost died on me and I watched and also saved his life. Anyways, at night I can't sleep very good, I feel like I have trouble breathing or I feel that there is something wrong with my heart, I think it's because i keep thinking about it and it makes me feel that way. I have gone out for runs or walks to clear my head out which really helps relieve stress. Right now I feel my muscles tense. I'm young, if you would like to know. Do you think it's just stress? Or do you think there is something wrong with me mentally or health wise and I should go see my doctor?

Answers:

It sounds to me like it is stress. The exercise is not only good for your physical health it is also good for mental health. It may help you to talk things over with your parents. Even if they are not able to help you much, sometimes just being able to talk to someone about it helps relieve the stress. If this issue lasts a while your parents might want to consider either calling your Dr. (He/she might prescribe something for your anxiety) or making an appointment to talk to a professional counselor or both.

I think the incident with your brother is the cause of your stress. You are ok and will be ok. remember time heals all wounds,meaning the stress will leave you in time.
