Do you think I have a stomach ulcer?
I am a 14 year old female and I have been stomach issues. for a while now it has been feeling like acid is literally burning inside my stomach. this pain is pretty consistent and it would go away for a while if i ate. but when I don't eat it is just worse. I also have been having pain around my upper left check. like where my heart is you could say but i little more to the right but not in the center. When I was little I would get so worked up over everything and have had a lot of stress. I know those are contributing factors. I also take advils and naproxen and tylonel with codine for my headaches. I am not sure if that will make it worse. I take them typically on an empty stomach and without a fluid. any ideas? I don't want to go to another doctor because i am going to a lot right now for my mysterious head issue and missed a lot of school already. thanks! :)

Do you know what will happen if you end in the hospital if you have an ulcer. You could end up having surgery with months of recovery, Go to the Pharmacy and look for an over the counter drug called Prilosec. Take one when you get home. Start taking them before you eat in the morning and wait and half hour before you eat. The first few days you might have to take a second one mid day Prilosec can be pricey. Ask the Pharmacist if there is a store brand and it will be much cheaper. Or you need to see your doctor,. Never take any pills on an empty stomach.
