Question: Tight pinching sensation on the right of sternum?
There's a tight pinching sensation on the right of my friend's sternum, and we're not sure what to do about it, or why it's there.

There are several possibilities (and it may not be any of them); the ribs may be applying pressure on the lungs, it may be a muscle cramp, or it could be as serious as a heart problem. If the pinching is very discomforting for your friend, I would definitely suggest consulting with a physician. It's much better to be safe than sorry!
