ways to get to sleep?!

Question: Ways to get to sleep?
It takes me ages to get to sleep like an hour or even more and I was wondering if there were ways to get to sleep faster? Its just because I end up feeling really tired the next day.
Thanks

What I do is just keep my eyes shut, you CAN'T open them. Then tense each muscle so you're all scrunched up and then release them slowly, you should feel instantly more relaxed. Thirdly, which always makes me fall asleep if I can manage it, just tell yourself it doesn't matter that you can't get to sleep!
In the day, I'd run around and drink lots of water, which will help you get to sleep. I also recommend reading before bed, it's as boring as hell but makes your eyes get tired, and dry, so you'll want to close your eyes and go to sleep.
Hope I helped!

I'm the same. When i was younger and before i moved in with a fella, i used to bang my head on the pillow to get to sleep. Obviously when i started sharing a bed with my man, i couldn't do that anymore and it would take me ages to nod off.

What i do now, is I lie in my most comfortable position, i pretend i am on a sun lounger on a private beach, the sun is blazing down, the small breeze is rustling the leaves of the palm trees, the waves are gently lapping on the shore, the ice in my cocktail is chinking against the glass and i am totally relaxed. I go through that scenario stage by stage every night by imagining each thing one at a time and it's usually the last thing i think of - i'm gone.

Without the right amount of sleep, our mind and body will not be able to function effectively. In fact, various studies have shown that lack of sleep can result to increased stress, memory loss, metabolic disorders, and a host of other health problems.

Here are some ways that might help:
Stop checking your email or watching TV just before bedtime and you'll sleep better.
Exercise to Enhance Sleep.
Eat to Enhance Sleep.

I work shifts and always find myself struggling to sleep the night before I go back on shift. It may sound silly but don't go to bed unless you are tired, and I mean really tired, so that you cant hardly keep your eyes open. Don't read or watch telly in bed as it gets the mind active and you`ll be bouncing off the walls by midnight, hardly able to keep the eyes closed at all.

Dont have a tv in your room. Do not get involved in a really interesting book before sleep. Try to breathe deeply through your nose and out through your mouth and imagine you are going to your safe personal little island where you can colour the trees, the sea, the flowers, the birds anyway you want. good luck and pleasant dreams!

Well turn off all if your electronics 20mins before bed. Do something that relaxes you before you go to bed Luke take a warm bath or hot shower or listen to some calming music. Could try taking some medicine to help but I dnt really suggest that, usually doesn't turn out good for your health in the future.

If you force yourself to do something to get some sleep, you'll end up focusing on something and staying awake. Just try to empty your mind or think of something pleasant or extraordinary with your eyes closed. Sleeping pills might be an option too.

don't eat 3 hours before bed, don't take naps in the day, go to bed as late as possible, take a shower before ya go to bed, relax before ya go to bed, read, watch tv, wack off

sleeping tablet.
