Question: Whats the best steroid to heal a UCL hand injury and atrophied thumb muscle?

I tore my UCL in my thumb over 3 months ago, i took an MRI and they said there is only a partial tear in my UCL. My thumb muscle is very atrophied and i have hardly any strength. What would be the best steroid to use for strengthening my hand? Also would it be best to inject it straight into the affected muscle? Any advice is much appreciated thanks.
