What will happen if a tendon snaps in my achilles heel?!

Question: What will happen if a tendon snaps in my achilles heel?
I have constant pain in my acilles heel. I take a boatload of vicodin 10-325 plus aspirin plus naproxen plus weed (legally of course, am registered( plus gabapentin and still it hurts like fuuk.
I saw a movie hostel and the guy sliced the guys achilles heel and the guy lost all control of his feet.
I am scaring myself as I speak.
I dont want to ask my dr because he may think im crazy.
Am i crazy?
Can the pain mean my achilles tendon is about to snap?

Answers:

If your achilles tears completely, your calf will roll up like a windowshade, and you will require surgery to repair it. It is quite painful.
Is the pain in the heel (bottom back of the foot) or at the lower portion of the leg behind the ankle and about 2-3 inches above the floor? Google your symptoms. Sometimes a shoe orthotic can help because your foot has a falling arch. The latest Dr. Scholls insert is quite good, and in the States you can go to a local Walmart and use the Dr. Scholls machine to determine which orthotic is best. My pain went away about 2-3 weeks after I began using them.

The tendons do tighten up at times but you can free it back up to get rid of the pain you are having and here's how you can free up that tendon:
Achilles tendon:
While sitting and your leg on your lap, take both thumbs and place them side by side at about ankle height on the tendon on the back of your leg and apply pressure hard and hold. After 30 seconds slowly raise your toes up as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your foot there for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

it doesn't mean it i going to snap. you probably just have tendonitis. and if it does snap, you won't be able to walk. i think they can fix it, but you won't ever be able to run.

If it snaps, and it probably won't, but if it does, then you will have an achilles body. Ohh, painful.
