Question: How fast does Cipro work?
46/M. I have a staph infection in my bellybutton. Went to the Dr yesterday afternoon. PA prelim diag as staph, secondary to mycobaterial infection.
My bellybutton has been painful and oozing blood and other stuff for about two weeks. I've kept it packed with toilet paper for comfort.
Took 2 pill loading dose last night.....18 hours ago. Maybe it's my imagination, but my bellybutton feels a lot better already. Still looks bad, but MUCH better than last night.
Is Cipro THAT fast?

yes. do not stop tasking it until all of the meds are gone.
Usually takes 24 to 48 hours to see improvement but that doesn't mean you aren't seeing relief this early.
