sprained wrist? help!?!

Question: Sprained wrist? help!?
last night ma rightwrist started hurting when i moved it and i couldnt even do simple thins like fasten my bra or pull trousers on this morning

so this morning i put a temporary bandage on when i went to the stables.... it was awful there because i couldnt push a wheel barrow or open the gates, i was careful when mucking out and tok the strain of the leadropes when bringing them in with my left hand.

its in my inside right wrist joint and theres a vain thats showing more than the rest.....my thumbs hurting in certain movements, thres also a tender part on my hand and i got pins and needles in it earlier

my mums a nurse so she's put a better bandage on my wrist and hand to support it 'wich helps'

im just wondering ift is a sprain? and if i should leave the bandage 'support' on while i go to bed, or will it cut off circulation? its tightish but not too tight

thank you in advance

Answers:

Tensor bandages should be taken off a night. However, what you're describing sound more like a minor break than a sprain. Time to get yourself to a doctor for some xrays!

I'm a Paramedic.

If you can remember when and how it started hurting, that would help in the identification of the problem.

From what the information provided, you have the symptoms of a muscle tear or a slight fracture.
