Scared of bed bugs, should I go and sleep in my parents bed?!

Question: Scared of bed bugs, should I go and sleep in my parents bed?
It is now 4am, I am really convinced I have bed bugs in my bed (woke up with rash-like bites and saw one in my pj's tonight) although my dad checked my mattress and thinks I'm lying and just seeing things. I am in my brothers room but still cannot sleep because of my paranoia and fear..I am sooo tired and the only way I can get some sleep is if I go to my parents bed, despite me being 14. Should I or should I not? My parents will probably be real p*ssed off. (btw sleeping on couches don't work for me)

Answers:

1.) Take a shower to remove any possible bed bugs from your body.

2.) Put on some nice clean pj's from a closed drawer. You can put them in the dryer on high heat for 5 minutes if you are truly worried that there are bed bugs. The high heat will kill them.

3.) Sleep in your parent's room BUT DO NOT BRING ANYTHING EXCEPT YOURSELF FROM YOUR ROOM. In case there are actually bed bugs! Use a blanket and pillow from your parent's room.

Sometimes just the thought of bugs, especially bed bugs can lead to feeling the need to itch and thinking you see bugs that aren't there. Such as seeing lint. Tomorrow morning, have your parents check your mattress thoroughly for bed bugs with a flashlight. Wash your linens in hot water twice and then dry on high heat to relieve your nervousness if no bugs are found.

if you have bed bugs in your bed ou are just spreading them around if you sleep anywhere else. and thatll cause your familty to have to get rid of EVERYTHING! stay in your own bed for now and keep telling your parents. go to the doc theyll tell you what kind of bites the are. bed bugs will ruin your life!!!

Get your parents to come to your room and flip the mattress a few times. Hopefully that will drive them out for your parents to see. You may have to resort to buying a new mattress if you can't get them out.

Sleep on the floor. Your parents need to have their "alone time" to make love.
